Also in the archives is the tenth edition of the singing competition ‘Il mio canto libro’, organized by Nerio Masia and Paolo Nazzari. The kermes, which has now become a real tradition for the choir, was staged at the Villa Pigna in Folignano.
A large number of singers took part in the event, promoted in coordination with the municipality of Folignano and the cultural association ‘Ascoli+’. In the ‘Green’ (9 – 13 years) and ‘Over 14’ categories, around fifty people competed until the last note. Five technical judges evaluated the performance: guitarist Maurizio Travaglini, vocalist Marica Di Francesco, composer Leonardo De Carolis, singer-songwriter Luca Orsini and music critic Giancarlo Mei.
