“Tuesday evening” in Merano, we will return to the streets on July 25
The Mars series continues even after the first two appointments which brought many people back to the centerOfThe evening, organized by the Tourist Board, was an event enjoyed by both the people of Merano and the guests of the city. As usual, from 6.30 pm the atmosphere comes alive for aperitifs, in the following hours the music returns as the protagonist to create an occasion in which everyone is involved in a context of lightness and a desire to be together, offering different contexts, including live performances of different musical genres – and various crossovers – that last until 11.30 pm.
From 20.30 live music starts at Milchbar in Corso Liberta with pop and soul of the Blue Wings Quartet. Latin jazz and pop by the Gary Quartet in the Aurora/Bruno section from the same time on Lungopasario, and the rock, pop and soul cocktail of the Cinnamon Rolls in Ponte della Posta. The trio would instead perform through the Casa di Risparmio with their jazz repertoire.
Two DJ sets: DJ Menaka on the console in the lounge area of Lungopasario on the terrace of the Kurhaus (from 8 to 11.30 p.m.), another station in Corso Liberta Superior with DJ Ralph Ciely (from 7 to 11.30 p.m.).
Second evening of dance in Piazza della Rena: Discofox, with standard dance, Latin American and Black and White dance schools.
There are two places dedicated to the markets: from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on the Promenade between Ponte della Posta and the Giardino restaurant/cafe (organized by the Artisans and Artists Cultural Association), and from 6.30 p.m. to 11 p.m. in Corso Liberta Superior, opposite the tourist board’s information office.
Mars planetOfIn the evenings they will continue until 22 August, with one exception: the 15 August appointment will be carried forward to Monday 14 August.
Midsummer Night: Superstar Show on July 27 in Piazza Terme
After an overture dedicated to comedy by Massimo López and Tullio Solenghi at the Kursaal, the second “designer” summer event Azienda di Sogiorno, Midsummer Night, arrives in Piazza Terme. Thursday 27 July is the time for the Superstar Show, a musical tribute to the greats of pop and rock music of all time, from Elvis Presley to Aretha Franklin, passing through John Travolta, Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, Michael Jackson, Prince, Jamiroquai and many others, reaching today with Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and more. A bunch of undisputed stars on the world stage.
