Jacques Bermon Webster II, also known as Travis Scott (Houston, April 30, 1991), is an American rapper and record producer.
Scott’s music career began at a very young age and he rose to prominence in 2012 with his participation in Kanye West’s GOOD Music EP “Cruel Summer”. He made his debut with the “Owl Pharaoh” mixtape, which featured artists such as TI and 2 Chainz, followed by another mixtape, “Days Before Rodeo”.
In 2015, Scott released his first official album, Rodeo, which included hits like “3500” and “Antidote” as well as collaborations with artists like Kanye West and Justin Bieber. Other successful albums followed, such as “Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight” (2016), a collaboration album with Quavo, “Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho” (2017) and the award-winning “Astroworld” (2018) , which contains the worldwide hit “SICKO MODE” with Drake.
Over the years, Scott has expanded his repertoire with singles such as “HIGHEST IN THE ROOM” and important collaborations such as with ROSALIA on “TKN”.
In 2020, he collaborated with Kid Cudi on “THE SCOTTS” and in 2022 released the singles “ESCAPE PLAN” and “MAFIA”.
On July 28, 2023, five years later, Scott released the long-awaited 19-track Utopia album with 18 featuring artists such as Drake, Beyoncé and Kid Cudi. The album was preceded by the singles “K-pop” and “Delresto (Echoes)” and was accompanied by the psychedelic film “Circus Maximus”, which explores Travis’ feelings and the concept of a utopian world.
