Free vaccines and assistance for young people who are about to start a new school year. These, among other aids, will be offered tomorrow (August 5th) at the Cotton Public Square as part of a “Great Services Fair”.

“We want to help families pay for what their students need to go back to school. Parents who need to renew their green immunization papers can come to the fair because we’re going to give it away for free and they don’t have to pay $20 or $25 for it. and private health plans,” said Mayor Samuel Rivera Báez.

In addition to free vaccinations, blood donations are available and backpacks and school supplies are delivered to students.

“We will work with the blood bank in the medical center, which in many cases is zero. We will donate our lives, and we will help all these patients, because at any moment we or a family member may be one of the patients who need blood to save their lives”, He expected.

There will also be clinics for mammograms and vaccinations for adults such as COVID-19, tetanus, diphtheria, shingles, pneumonia and flu, with staff conducting lead tests for children aged 1 to 4 screening test. School of Medical Technology.

Likewise, there will be barbershop services, exhibitions and children’s entertainment such as bounce houses and sweets.

All services from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm are free.

The fair was held thanks to a partnership with the Ministry of Health and the Office of the Municipal First Lady.
