After the success of the album Foam rubber critical acclaim and after the release of the single Ossesso, after sensational sell-outs at the Teatro Dal Verme in Milan and the Auditorium in Rome, and after a long and happy summer tour, George Then returns to the scenes of the best Italian clubs with his exciting and powerful show, finally living in the dimension that suits him best, in close contact with his audience.
George Then born in Novara but raised in Rome. After trips to London, Berlin and the States, he arrives in 2017. “Nothing to do” released for Bomba Dischi/Universal to critical acclaim. An exceptional singer, songwriter and musician with a continuous live activity and fruitful collaborations with artists on the Italian and international scene, he released his second album in 2019. “Smog”.
Signing an original soundtrack to Summertime (Netflix), he returns in the fall of 2021 with I Pomeriggi, the single that marks his return to the stage, and Happy Days, based on the book of the same name by cartoonist Zuzu, who also edited for the occasional official cover of the song. On December 3, 2021, he released the album Gommapiuma (Bomba disco/Universal Music) to critical acclaim from music critics. On May 18, 2022, Haute Saison was released, a new single by Rob & Jack Lahana featuring George Then and Gordon Tracks. The music video marks the directorial debut of actress Natalie Portman.
