Crazy soundtrack for a signature tour of success Sofia Coppola. In the year of Priscilla, we could not fail to mention Somewhere among streaming movies to watch on Infinity+. Inspired by Fellini and Bogdanovich and technically excellent, the film tells the story of Johnny, a promiscuous star who finds himself in touch with reality when he has to take care of his daughter. Starring Stephen Dorff and Elle Fanning. The film won the Golden Lion in Venice in 2010, when Quentin Tarantino was on the jury. Soundtrack? From Foo Fighters to Kiss.

4. “Spring is coming fast”, Carlo Mazzacurati
Italian cinema of a different time than Carlo Mazzacurati’s Spring is coming fast. It was back in 1996 when the film was presented in Venice. Story? This is a Czech girl who came to Italy by bus. Without a penny in her pocket, she is engaged in prostitution. She will meet Antonio, a man who will take care of her. But this may not be enough. Tragic ending and scenery by Leonardo Scarpa for a small film full of incredible visions: we find a young man Antonio Albanese, and then Silvio Orlando, Ivano Marescotti, Antonio Catania. Even Stefano Accorsi, in one of the very first roles (there is an extra). In the role of the main character, the meteorite Terza Zaichikova. What will he do?
5. Hole by Joe Dante
Finally, we have chosen Hole Joe Dante, because Venice has always been attentive to new technologies. And the horror film, presented in 2009, was one of the first to be shown in 3D. At the center of the film, among the least remembered by the director, is a house outside the center, a basement and a mysterious portal. Nostalgic waves of maturing horror capable of disturbing and entertaining audiences in the Sala Grande, whose eyes were closed by what at the time seemed to be a transition to a new way of enjoying cinema.
