Emma Watson has swapped Hogwarts for Oxford after reportedly enrolling on a correspondence course at the city university to study creative writing.
The 33-year-old actress, who became famous for her role as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter series, last appeared on screen in the 2019 film Little Women, directed by Greta Gerwig, who played Barbie.
The Master’s course will only require Emma to attend a few on-site lectures and the rest of her work will be completed online.
A source told The Sun: “The course is aimed at older people and can be done part-time, which is perfect for Emma’s schedule.”
“She only needs to be on site four or five days a year because she can complete the rest of the course online from the comfort of her home.
“Since she is a famous actress, she will be looked after by security whenever she goes to class.
The publication also reported that university staff had been warned that the actress would be attending classes with a small security team for her own safety.
According to their website, the cost of the two-year college course is £20,000, which also includes two guided retreats and one research internship.
MailOnline has contacted Emma’s representatives for comment.
The stunning beauty showed up in style as she attended numerous shows at Milan Fashion Week.
Emma, who has been seen with bodyguards outside her hotel in recent days, was allegedly recently targeted by Drew Barrymore’s suspected stalker.
During New York Fashion Week, Chad Michael Busto allegedly tried to break into Emma’s dressing room and was later arrested.
Authorities said Chad forced his way into a dressing room at the venue where the show was taking place and yelled at nearby makeup artists and models.
“I want to marry Emma Watson,” he allegedly shouted, according to court documents. “Let me talk to Emma Watson. Let me take a picture with Emma Watson.”
According to the outlet, it is unclear whether the actress was present or nearby in the alleged incident.
It was then reported that Chad was later released from prison as the prosecutor said the alleged crime was not bailable.
The move comes less than a month after a Southampton judge released Chad after he was arrested and charged with fourth-degree stalking of actress Drew.
He allegedly showed up at the star’s Hamptons home on August 23, two days after he ran into her at a live event at the 92nd Street Y.
