Michael Jordan’s son Marcus claims the Chicago Bulls legend nearly lost $40,000 after falling off a jet ski with his daughter Jasmine.
Once in the water, the NBA icon was obviously the first to rush to save his money.
Marcus Jordan, 32, revealed this on Separation Anxiety , a podcast he co-hosts with his girlfriend, Real Housewives star Larsa Pippen.
In the episode titled “Family Secrets Revealed,” Jordan begins by claiming that his father can’t swim.
“But he’ll survive,” the son of the six-time NBA champion added.
Marcus then recalled how his father and sister ended up in Bahamian waters after their motorboat capsized.

“My sister was floating in the water – she was obviously wearing a life vest,” Marcus said.
“My dad was in the water and he didn’t have a life jacket on.
“All you see is a large wad of cash, about £40, tied with rubber bands.”
Marcus then asked Larsa – the ex-wife of Jordan’s former Bulls teammate Scottie Pippen – who she thought his father was going to save first.
When the reality star guessed it was money, he continued: “My dad did buy 40 grand first.”
Larsa, 49, defended Michael, predicting that Jasmine might be “fine” in the vest.
Marcus replied: “That’s what my father said.
“He said, ‘She’s got a life jacket on, but I have to go get this cash.'”
Even though Marcus and Larsa are 16 years apart in age, they seem ready to get married.
Although Michael said he wasn’t supportive, their relationship was still making progress.
