Once you become a parent, so much of your energy is devoted to your child(ren) that there isn’t much left in the tank at the end of the day – either at the beginning or in the middle, to be completely honest. Raising children is a full-time job in itself, requiring long hours with very few breaks. As much as we love our kids, we’re tired as hell most of the time—and even celebrity parents can understand the never-ending role of a mother or father.
Many parents have so little gas in the tank at the end of the day that we barely have time to finish watching a TV show before our eyes close. So suffice it to say that sex often ends up last on the to-do list. Even former swimsuit model Chrissy Teigen and R&B singer John Legend have trouble finding time for intimacy after starting a family. While talking with Women HealthTeigen shared that they may not be as busy as they were when they were childless, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t still attracted to each other. She said: “We still have passion for each other, but do we do it casually in the dressing room? No!”
And as for single dad Anderson Cooper, he simply doesn’t have any dating opportunities – or any physical activity that comes with it – because he’s so focused on raising his kids. The thing is, priorities just change when kids come into play. It’s hard to find time for the things you used to do before kids, when so much of your day is centered around them after they’re a part of your life. So if you’re struggling to find time or find the energy for sex, don’t worry—even the world’s biggest stars struggle to find balance.

After laughing, Teigen added, “We’ll come back to this again. But it’s funny: if he’s performing somewhere and I show up, I think, “Oh, he’s sexy.” We’ll probably have sex that night,” she said cheekily.

Anderson Cooper
With two children just under two years apart, Anderson Cooper is too tired to return to dating or any other activities that might come with it.
During an interview with Peoplea CNN news anchor reported, “I’m either working or with the kids, and by the time I get home, I’m exhausted.” Cooper continued: “I used to stay up until midnight or 1am every night, not doing anything particularly interesting. But even just watching something on Netflix or Max or whatever, now I come home at 9:30 p.m. and I’m ready to go to bed,” he admitted. So, that’s enough to say that there is no “Netflix and chill” going on for this tired dad.
