AFC Bournemouth is working on a documentary featuring Michael B. Jordan

That’s according to chairman Bill Foley, who bought the Cherries last year with Jordan as a minority shareholder.

Creed star Jordan visited the Vitality Stadium with Foley to watch the Premier League match against Crystal Palace last season.

Sports documentaries have become very popular in recent years, with clubs such as Arsenal, Manchester City and Newcastle United offering behind-closed-doors looks at their clubs in shows streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

Foley has previously hinted at using Jordan as a way to further promote the Cherries abroad, and has also mentioned “comedies” involving first-team players.

Asked about Jordan’s involvement with the Cherries in a wide-ranging interview Men in blazers In the podcast, American Foley said: “MBJ is a solid guy. He’s very down to earth.

“He’s an ordinary guy.

“I thought he could help us in the market, he could be involved in our international marketing plans and the projects we are implementing. He was fantastic.

“We’re currently working on a documentary that he’ll be in, which will be a lot of fun.

“We’re in the middle of this process, we’re finishing up an exciting video and it’s going to be the story of a little guy who actually succeeds against all odds.

“It will have to be a few seasons because I feel we will be moving up the table rather than down.”

When asked if Jordan would use his Hollywood acting skills, Foley replied: “It’s a documentary, so I think he’ll play himself!”
