After Lionel Messi won yet another Ballon d’Or, a controversial streamer exposed Cristiano Ronaldo’s alleged cringe-worthy DMs to female celebrities and made bold claims

Twitch streamer Sneako highlighted Cristiano Ronaldo after Lionel Messi won his eighth Ballon d’Or.

The 25-year-old said in a post on X:

“Ronaldo the Goat.”

This comes as a bit of a shock after content creators criticized the Portuguese superstar in August. During one of his live streams, he hosted dancer and artist Lexy Panterra.

Sneko then discovered that Ronaldo had privately messaged the Persian-American singer. He went on to say:

“Ronaldo’s first DM was him leaning against the car. He was just chill like there was no text and it was just Ronaldo. Wtf!”

He also compared himself to Messi, saying:

“Ronaldo, Messi wouldn’t do this, brother!”

Sneako is a well-known anchor who has repeatedly caused heated discussions online for his controversial remarks. The 25-year-old is currently banned from YouTube, confusingly still supporting the Al-Nassr striker despite publicly criticizing him in the past.

Inter Miami star Lionel Messi said at a press conference in August that he doesn’t take the Ballon d’Or too seriously.

In his first interview with the media since moving to Miami, Messi said:

“I’ve said many times that the Ballon d’Or is very important because of the recognition on an individual level, but I’ve never attached much importance to it, between quotes, the most important thing for me has always been the group level awards,” May West said previously.

“I’ve been lucky enough to achieve everything in my career and after the World Cup I thought a lot less about the award, my biggest award was that and I was covering up my moments.

“If it arrives, great, if not, nothing happens. I’ve been lucky enough to achieve all the goals I’ve had in my career and now I have a new one at this club.”

The Argentine said in 2017 that he was hurt by Cristiano Ronaldo matching his five-win total, and has since done a 180-degree turn in his beliefs.

After winning his sixth title in 2019, he said:

“On the one hand, I’m happy to have five and to be the only one to do it,” Messi said at the time. “When Cristiano leveled me, I have to admit it hurt me a little bit. I was no longer alone at the top.

“But it’s logical, even if it’s fine when you’re alone with five.”

2017 was the last year Ronaldo won the prestigious award. Meanwhile, the Argentinian added a sixth and seventh in 2019 and 2021 respectively.

He has now extended his record to eight and won the 2023 Ballon d’Or. His antics at the 2022 World Cup sealed victory for Argentina, beating the likes of Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe.
