This week Alanis Morissette visited Kelly Clarkson, giving the band’s fans an unforgettable duet.
Years after the release of her iconic 1995 album Serrated small tabletthe Canadian music legend performed with Clarkson to “You Oughta Know” as they wrapped up Thursday’s episode. The Kelly Clarkson Show.
In addition to winning Grammy Awards for Best Rock Song and Best Female Rock Vocal Performance, the single was covered and sampled by artists such as Weird Al Yankovic, Britney Spears and Beyoncé. The song even took on a Regency-era feel when Morissette re-recorded the song with string accompaniment for the series’ second season. Bridgerton.

Earlier this month during Pink’s summer Carnival tour in Los Angeles Leap of faith the artist began singing “You Oughta Know” before Morissette surprised the audience and joined her on stage.
Pink appropriately got down on one knee and let Morissette’s powerful vocals wash over her during the duet.

Morissette celebrated her 20th birthday Serrated small tablet with Demi Lovato when they performed “You Oughta Know” together at the 2015 American Music Awards.
Olivia Rodrigo
While Olivia Rodrigo took the throne as the new queen of breakup anthems last year on her Sour Touring in support of her debut studio album, she was confident that she would pay tribute to her predecessor.
