All the stars of Venice and the USA are coming Adam Driver – Cinema

Whether the impact of the double strike of writers and actors, which has been blocking Hollywood for months, will be “modest,” as Venice Film Festival (August 30–September 9) director Alberto Barbera calls it, remains to be seen. Meanwhile, some big nos from Emma Stone, Willem Dafoe, Bradley Cooper, Carey Mulligan, Michael Fassbender, for example, have also seen some major yeses over the past few hours, most notably from Adam Driver.
The turning point came on August 25, when a list of films was released that, for a number of reasons, were exempt from promotion at festivals.
There are really a lot of Italian stars, from Pierfrancesco Favino to Toni Servillo, Valerio Mastandrea, Alba Rohrwacher, Claudia Gerini, Alessandro Gassmann, Castellitto, Michaela Ramazzotti.
Giorgio Armani has confirmed the One Night Only fashion show at the Arsenal on September 2 and the amfAR charity gala on September 3 at La Misericordia, dedicated to Ava DuVernay. On the glam front, news for the nostalgic is the exclusive opening for just two nights of the Viscontinano Hotel des Bains, clad in Campari red, on September 1st and 2nd.
After the Italian opening of Comandante with Favino, August 31 is the day of Adam Driver accompanying Michael Mann’s Ferrari (Penélope Cruz will not be there, however). On the same day, young Caleb Landry Jones arrives in Luc Besson’s Dogman, and Vincent Lindon presents Xavier Giannoli’s D’Argent et de sang.
On September 1, Mads Mikkelsen was cast as Bastarden by Nikolaj Arcel, and the cast of Poor Creatures from Emma Stone to Willem Dafoe is completely absent. On Saturday, September 2, Luca Barbareschi and Fanny Ardant will take part in Polanski’s Palace. Léa Seydoux will be there on Sunday, September 3, for Bertrand Bonello’s The Beast.
On Monday, September 4, Sofia Coppola’s “Priscilla” will be one of the films approved by the union: in addition to the director and Presley’s widow, Cailee Spaeny and Jacob Elordi are expected at the Lido. Woody Allen is in fourth place in the Coup de Chance. Friday, September 8 ends on a high note with Jessica Chastain in Michel Franco’s Memoriam and Guillaume Canet starring alongside Alba Rohrwacher in Stéphane Brise’s Zar-Season.
