Almost identical photo of LeBron dunk, taken 20 years apart

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James’ two-decade dominance is one of the most remarkable achievements in NBA history.

His continued excellence is perfectly captured in two photos posted to social media on Monday morning.

The two photos taken by photographer Rocky Widner are strikingly similar. Seeing the same date and the same photographer’s work in the same city makes the spectacle even more awe-inspiring.

According to Cavs Insider’s Spencer Davies, Sunday marks the 20th anniversary of LeBron’s NBA debut with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

On October 29, 2003, James started with Carlos Boozer, Darius Miles, Ricky Davis and Zydrunas Ilgauskas and won the game. A high of 25 points, 9 assists and 4 steals, as well as 6 rebounds and two turnovers. James made 12 of 20 shots, including 0 of 2 three-pointers. The Cavaliers lost to the Sacramento Kings 106-92.

The future Hall of Famer started the game Sunday with teammates Anthony Davis (10 when LBJ made his debut), Austin Reeves (5), D’Angelo Russell (7 ) took the stage with Torreon Prince.
