Addressing Islamic countries, Haniyeh said:

In his speech, Haniyeh also touched on the extraordinary joint summit between the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Arab League, which was held in Riyadh on November 11, and pointed out that the decisions taken at this summit, such as “cessation of hostilities, the entry of aid into Gaza, and the protection of holy sites.” “Recognizing the right of the Palestinian people to independence and return,” and called for its implementation.

Referring to the UN Security Council resolution yesterday (November 16) demanding an “immediate and prolonged cessation” of clashes in Gaza, Haniyeh said Israel must stop attacks, open the border gates, finally lift the blockade, and recognize the legitimate rights of Gaza residents. The Palestinian people said that pressure must be exerted.
