In a recent discussion, dear ViewAna Navarro expressed her dissatisfaction with the excessive coverage of the ongoing public drama surrounding Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith.
Navarro rejected the idea that these personal issues should be given such broad attention, questioning whether Gotham the actress is profiting from all this to increase the ratings of her talk show, Conversation at the Red Table.
During the segment, the presenters View delved into Pinkett Smith’s recent revelation that she and her husband have been separated since 2016, a shocking development considering their long-time marriage since 1997.
This means that even during the infamous incident at the 2022 Oscars when Wild Wild West the actor slapped Chris Rock after a joke about Jada’s hair, the couple have been living separately for six years.
Pinkett Smith told media that she and Smith are “still figuring it out.”
“We did some really hard work together,” she said. “We just developed a deep love for each other and we’re going to figure out what that looks like for us.”
“Why did it break? It’s a lot of things and I think by the time we got to 2016 we were just tired of trying,” he said. Matrix the actress continued. “I think we’re both stuck in our fantasies of what we think the other person should be like.”
“I promised that there would never be any reason for us to get a divorce,” she added. “We can handle everything. I just couldn’t break that promise.”
Navarro couldn’t help but express her disappointment at the extensive knowledge she and the public have about the Smiths’ personal lives.
“Why do I know so much about these people’s marriages?” – Navarro exclaimed.
She further expressed disappointment, saying that such excessive coverage ruined her ability to enjoy the couple’s acting work.
