When it comes to wrestling families, there are a few big names such as the McMahons, Rhodes, but their group family has produced many megastars for the company including Yokozuna, Umaga, Rikishi, the Wild Samoans and the current era of The Rock, The Usos and currently in top Roman Reigns.
Roman Reigns and The Rock have been linked to each other since he debuted for the company at Royal Rumble 2015, The Rock was called upon to help Roman Reigns and was even called Roman’s cousin back then. WWE has always planted the seed that they are both cousins, but are they really blood cousins, are they related?

Roman Reigns and The Rock – Blood Brothers or Not
Roman Reigns is the son of Shiki from The Wild Samoans faction in WWE. and The Rock is the son of Rocky Johnson. They belong to different family trees. Amituanai Anoa’i and High Chief Peter Maivia were at one point very close friends and considered themselves blood brothers, which eventually turned this family tree into one.
The Grand Family and the Tribal Chief’s families are not blood relatives, they were friends and then later merged their clans as their ancestors were very close to each other. Therefore, Roman and The Rock are not blood relatives.
The Rock recently appeared on Blue Brand and got engaged to Austin Theory. He is currently a full-time Hollywood actor and is rumored to be returning at WrestleMania 40, with Roman Reigns being his intended opponent. He also revealed on The Patt McAfee Show that he was almost booked to face Roman at WrestleMania 39, but it was later canceled and Reigns had his match against Rhodes. The Tribal Chief returns today after SummerSlam 2023 with his Blue Brand.
