After the bird flu, the EU resumed buying poultry from Argentina. This measure has been implemented since August 30.
The decision came after Argentina declared the elimination of bird flu. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that this was a joint effort with the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries and the National Service for Agri-Food Sanitation and Quality (SENASA).
This news is very important for the poultry industry because this market means a lot of exports. In 2022, shipments to the Old Continent will be €7.8 million, a 100% increase compared to 2021.
