Unlike some of the other celebrity divorces that have happened recently, Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez’s divorce process appears to be going smoothly and without problems. But the “7 Rings” singer still has some demands in her split.
Grande, 30, and Gomez, 28, filed for divorce almost simultaneously on Sept. 18, asking to end their marriage in two years. According to the singer’s statement, which was received Page sixGrande demanded that the former couple’s prenuptial agreement be respected – details of the agreement were not disclosed.

Grande is requesting that various pieces of jewelry, including earrings, purchased by her before, during the marriage and after the separation be considered separate property and assets. In other words, she wants to keep her purchases.
Grande requested that all community assets that were jointly owned during the marriage be divided according to the prenuptial agreement. She also asked that she and Gomez be responsible for paying their attorneys’ fees.

In accordance with AND! NewsIn his application, Gomez did not ask for spousal support, but asked the court to put the matter on hold for further consideration. Both Grande and her real estate agent gave the official separation date as Feb. 20 and cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
Sources previously said the exes tried to keep their relationship as amicable as possible and worked out most of the details of the divorce before going to court. “They came to the decision together,” the source said. Page six in July. “They had problems before January, but they want to remain best friends.”
Grande’s split first became public in July after she was spotted without her wedding ring. It soon became known that Grande cheated on Gomez with Ethan Slater, her Wicked co-star who was married at the time of the alleged affair. Slater has since filed for divorce from his wife Lilly Jay.
Jay, who has a one-year-old son with Slater, criticized Grande. “Really (Ariana’s) story. Not a girl,” Jay told Page Six. “My family is just collateral damage.” Gomez, Grande and Slater have not publicly commented on their divorce or the alleged affair.
