Ariana Grande’s former private chef reveals the Grande family’s favorite vegan dish

Chef Manouschka Guerrier has prepared dishes for some of Hollywood’s most famous stars. She cooks for the Kardashians, Selena Gomez and the queen herself: Ariana Grande. Guerrier stopped by the Delish Test Kitchen to show us how to make Grande’s favorite dish.

Chicken Scarpariello is typically made with braised chicken thighs and sausage and swimming in a spicy pickled pepper sauce (try saying that five times fast). This is a classic Italian-American dish that can be found in red sauce restaurants across the country. , including the ultra-exclusive Rao’s restaurant in New York City.

And this is the very first dish that Guerrier prepared for the Grande family. The chef previously starred on the Food Network series. Beverly Hills Private Chefs. Grande’s mother, Joan, was a fan of the show and suggested that Guerrier recreate the family’s favorite dish.

However, Guerrier’s version adapts to Grande’s plant-based diet. That’s right, this recipe is completely vegan. She uses a plant-based chicken substitute, but you can also skip that in favor of hearty oyster mushrooms and artichokes. However, vegan sausage is non-negotiable.

Grande’s family loved Guerrier’s vegan Scarriello chicken so much that Ariana soon invited her to join her 18th birthday party. She eventually became Grandes’ official personal chef and cooked many delicious vegan meals for her close-knit and loving family.

Guerrier tells us her recipe and reveals some celebrity secrets, including how she predicted Ariana would star in the upcoming film adaptation Wicked– in the video above. Want to make this recipe for yourself? Check it out here.
