Today’s event aims to minimize the impact on the environment: Armani Group plans to encourage the reuse of materials, promote separate waste collection, eliminate single-use plastic, avoid food waste and use LED lighting. All residual greenhouse gas emissions associated with this event will be offset by supporting environmental projects in the Venice Lagoon, run by Sea the Change and Blue Valley, and it has also been decided to support the non-profit organization “We’re here in Venice with a donation.” In addition, the Armani Group will make a donation to the non-profit Venetian Heritage Foundation: this contribution will go towards the conservative restoration of selected works belonging to the collection of the Galleria Giorgio Franchetti in Ca’ d’Oro.
