Harry and Meghan, returning from a trip to Germany, arrived at the event as “special guests,” as Costner himself designated them. Megan then presented the Dances with Wolves actor with an honorary award.
After the couple’s performance, Oprah Winfrey took to the stage to praise the work of the nonprofit sponsoring the event. In fact, mental health services have prevented 24 suicides this year.
Next came a performance by Maroon 5, which pleased those present with their most famous hits.
During the event, Harry and Meghan exchanged various outpourings: the prince, indeed, hugged his wife several times and reciprocated her feelings.
Harry’s joy at taking part in the event was especially evident given that the prince then launched into a series of dances to the beat of the timeless music of Maroon 5.
