Vice Governor Gabriel Souza received representatives and secretaries of the Municipality of the Costa Gaucho in the afternoon of the 3rd Expo (7/11) to discuss measures and guidelines regarding avian influenza. The initiative focuses on two cases of death and mortality of aquatic mammals.
The meeting will be attended by representatives of Imbé, Tavares, Mostardas, Terra de Areia, Osório, Xangri-lá, Arroio do Sal, Torres, Balneário Pinhal, Palmares do Sul and Rio Grande, together with the Civil Housing Team and Agriculture, Livestock, Sustainable Production and Minister of Irrigation (Seapi), Minister of Environment and Infrastructure (Sema), Minister of Health (SES) and Minister of Communications (Secom).
“The state government is on alert and is notifying prevention and control actions regarding the two cases recorded on the Gaucho Coast. Overall, our main goal is to properly guide the population and reduce the spread of cargo, especially as summer approaches and beach occupancy is higher period of high,” the deputy governor explained at the opening of the meeting.
