A sea lion was seen Tuesday in front of a house in the Monte Hermoso resort of Buenos Aires, where precautions have been taken to prevent a possible case of bird flu.
“Neighbors saw the specimen in front of a house on Vega Street, One and a half blocks from the beachso the place was attended by members of the commune’s zoonotic area and Senasa who had a seat in Colonel Dorrego,” said a municipal source.
“Given this situation and as a precautionary measure, city inspectors have initiated the closure of the surrounding streets to allow police to do their work. Zoonotic area veterinarians and Senasa staffâ, they added.
