Studio Stars – Tietgensgade 72
Let’s start with one of our favorites: studio stars. This basement store, located in a side street of Copenhagen Central Station, offers exclusively young designers underground and talented. Items found here are found nowhere else. Passing through the cobalt blue door, you will be greeted by the eclectic owner, Casper Enzo Enersen, his fun do-it-yourself interiors, and his partner Christina: an in-store artist who creates tattoos, ceramics, and her famous airbrush collections. Their job is to identify, mentor and support talented up-and-coming designers in Copenhagen, and to look for incredible vintage pieces. The main reason why you go shopping: be surprised and amazed by the bosses find something that hasn’t appeared on your timeline yet. Lagoons – Crystalgade 14-16

Time is up vintage – Krystalgade 4
Known to designers and celebrities as the reference vintage store, Time Out Vintage boasts a selection of very rare design items. Owner Jesper Richardy he curates space as he travels the world in search of one-of-a-kind items and luckily brings them back here to Copenhagen. Each journey leads to a new transformation of the store, which is gradually filled with new discoveries that Jesper finds during his adventures. Exploring the shelves, you really find everything: silk shirts from Hermes from the 80s, the first place in the network according to Jean Paul Gaultier from the 90s and even a skirt from Yves Saint Laurent since the 70s. Of course, you can also find something for everyday wear, such as polo shirts. Lacoste or vintage t-shirts and sweaters – as Jesper says “The store is well maintained but not overly so”. Time’s Up Vintage manages to give the impression that everything has stopped at whatever time period Jesper Richardy chooses.
Hansen Garments – Pilestræde 42-44
Tucked away in a charming little place, the shop combines a dark wooden interior and a casual atmosphere with a selection of brands from Japan and USA. Hansen clothing it is first and foremost a fashion brand and then a multi-brand store where the selection is curated to present an idea of fashion suitable for everyday life, where the most sophisticated cut is combined with workwear. Small wardrobes for big personalities, Hansen Garments is the only place to find them. Capital if you are in the city.
Palmes Tennis Society – Pilestræde 28
This year the Danish summer has been another sports summer: not only for triumph Jonas Wingegaard at the Tour de France for the second time in a row, but also for the struggle Holger rune to reach the quarterfinals of the legendary Wimbledon tournament, but lost to the winner Carlos Alcaraz. Storm Fashion – Shop Renegade 1
Perhaps the most famous fashion store in Copenhagen and the main location in the city center. Owner’s idea Rasmus Storm this goes beyond clothing to include beauty, music, books, and storefront displays. How much more like the Copenhagen version Collette or Dover Street Market, Storm is about to celebrate its 30th anniversary. Not bad, right? Saks Potts-Breadgade 73
Five minutes walk from Amalienborg, the seat of the Danish royal family, is the flagship store of one of Denmark’s most famous fashion brands. Dark wood floors and cabinets store clothes, and friendly staff conjure up an almost show-like experience of caring for every customer. The store also preserves the ancient history of the pharmacy inside by storing items in built-in cabinets that were originally used to store medicines.
Grocery Copenhagen – Elmegade 21
The creative direction and choice of brands in this small independent store could be one of the best representations of contemporary Scandinavian menswear. As noted: “The store reflects the energy that we see around us, we are constantly inspired by the people around us”and that’s probably why it gives Grocery Copenhagen an abundance of strictly Scandinavian brands. Here you will find a unique combination of items from brands such as multifunctional handle AND Our Heritagein addition to the branded outer return on investment AND parel Studios. In summer, the staff usually greets you outside, sitting right at the entrance to enjoy an invigorating coffee or a refreshing drink, and get to know the local fashion scene by walking, jogging or cycling in front of the shop in the center of Nørrebro.
Acne Studios Archive – Elmegade 21
It is impossible to describe the Scandinavian fashion scene without mentioning the contribution Acne Studios and from Johnny Johansson. If their flagship store Pilestræde is definitely worth a visit, then this is a little gem full of the brand’s archive items that makes the difference. A place where you can make some of the best discoveries in your wardrobe. Samples, last season’s clothes, accessories and second-hand items are sold at a discount from the retail price in a cozy space with wooden interiors and a very comfortable climate.
Circus Circus – Guldbergsgade 16
We want to be clear: if you don’t skate, this store is probably not for you. Said it Circus Cruz – one of the most famous skate shops in the city, the perfect place to find everything you need during your classes: decks, bearings, carts and wheels. Besides, of course, the clothes of the most famous skate brands, including Nike Sat – it is now increasingly difficult to find in stores due to brand strategy.
