The mistakes of the Brady era were huge, and the longtime Patriots quarterback covered up plenty of holes in his final years. No matter where Belichick goes next, he doesn’t need to have the final say on personnel. No matter how the rest of his career unfolds, no victory or defeat will change his status as the greatest head coach in NFL history.
