A new neighborhood group called “Centro via Mazzini” was born in the city, welcoming residents of the street and surrounding areas, from the Porta Nuova bar to Piazza del Sale. The interim coordinator is Mirco del Tongo, the deputy coordinators are Elena Giovanna Capitani, Paolo Castellani, Fabrizio Silia, Maria Adele Gerreschi, Simone Moroni, Andrea Olivetta, Annamaria Olivieri and Alessio Terni. In the coming days, the group will meet for a training meeting and appoint a facilitator.
“The Opificio delle Idee project for Grosseto,” its representatives say, “is therefore continuing to generate profits with the support of the municipality and the Association for the Control of the Area. So much so that neighborhood groups are becoming an increasingly important reality in our neighborhood thanks to all those citizens who voluntarily commit themselves to their neighbors. In our case, talking about safety means creating more protection, it is closeness, closeness to people who perceive a higher level of security, knowing that there are common plans.
