LVMH heir Frédéric Arnault and Blackpink star Lisa sparked a flurry of dating rumors after they were spotted giggling together at an event in Venice, sparking a furious investigation by internet amateur sleuths who provided even more evidence of a budding romance between the pair.
Dating rumors between the pair began when photos surfaced of the alleged pair enjoying a laugh at the Bulgari Mediterranea high jewelery event in Venice back in May, a moment that quickly had fans looking for more evidence of a blossoming romance.
It uncovered another photo of the couple sitting together in an airport lounge in Los Angeles, as well as in Paris and at several fashion events – while others began to dissect Lisa’s Instagram, insisting that her posts contain plenty of clues hinting on the romance between a 26-year-old pop princess and a billionaire luxury fashion heiress.
28-year-old Frederic is the son of the richest man in the world, Bernard Arnault. The patriarch is the chairman and CEO of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, and he and his family are worth about $212 billion, according to Forbes.
A success in her own right, the 26-year-old musician, born Lalisa Manobal but known professionally as Lisa, rose to fame as a member of the K-pop supergroup Blackpink.
The Arnos recently returned from a long summer vacation in Greece and Italy.
And eagle-eyed users of social networks immediately noticed the similarity of Lisa’s posts with posts in the accounts of the brothers of the heir Alexandre Arnault and wife Geraldine Guillot, as well as Jean Arnault and friend Zita d’Hauteville.
Lisa started posting after her luxury getaway on August 9, when she posed in denim shorts and a chic long-sleeve top.
She sunbathed against the backdrop of a dramatic white cliff before stripping down to a green bikini for a swim.
In a video she shared at the time, the distinctive stone archway leads into a blue lagoon. Geraldine also posted pictures just four days earlier from the same spot after she and her husband visited her by kayak.
Similarly, in another post just hours later, Lisa stunned in a turmeric dress while relaxing in a wicker chair on her patio balcony.
Once again, the same seating arrangement was seen in Geraldine’s Instagram story, with Zita playfully looking at the camera.
Geraldine and Zita were also quick to like and comment on the singer’s photos shortly after they were posted.
Meanwhile, Frédéric, CEO of luxury watch brand TAG Heuer, has been posting less on social media but still shared a photo showing one of the company’s watches.
The pink dial certainly caught the eye, but the background also piqued the interest of fans as it seemed to reflect Lisa’s European holiday.
It is unknown when the couple first met, but Lisa previously worked with brands that are part of the LVMH group.
She has been a global ambassador for Celine for three years and earlier this year collaborated with Bulgari on a limited edition watch.
The couple has also been seen on numerous outings together in recent months.
In November 2022, Frederick attended one of Blackpink’s concerts at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles and then posted a photo with the band members.
He and Lisa were then spotted giggling together at the Bulgari Mediterranean High Jewelry Event in Venice back in May, as well as hanging out in Paris while the K-Pop star was on the group’s world tour.
Another photo of the two in a private airport lounge in Los Angeles, California also surfaced.
Neither Lisa nor Frederick have confirmed their relationship status.
