On Friday night (October 20), Boosie Badazz took to Twitter to discuss his financial dispute with EMPIRE’s Yung Blue. The legendary Southern emcee stated, “Yung Blue, can you do the right thing (and) give me back my millions that were taken from me? (You) know that I (was) screwed up because of the amount of time. Why don’t you want to pay me?

Boosie and Bleu have been going back and forth for a while since the singer-songwriter left Boosie’s Bad Azz Music Syndicate. The latest attempt to recover the alleged debt occurred immediately after Blue was jailed for assault.

According to TMZ, Blue is accused of assaulting a woman during an argument over his 10-year-old son. The victim told police that Blue arrived at her home on Sunday (October 15) unannounced to take the child with him. However, an argument ensued and she claims the rapper threw her to the ground, causing her to injure her hip and arm. Blue agreed to speak with deputies about the incident and was taken into custody and booked on battery. He has since been released after posting $2,400 bail.

After the news was published, Blue wrote on his Instagram story: “Fake news, slander. I will keep going towards the ultimate goal. I have more important goals than music. Music was just the first step. I did this to deal with my emotions. One hundred million in the next five years. I’m doing something more important than myself. I don’t do anything online, but I will take the time to tell all my ladies who might be Bleu fans that I value women and am completely innocent.”

Blue has yet to respond to Boosie’s latest attempt to recover funds allegedly owed to him. There is no timetable for when he will do this. Blue released his latest album Scars of Love II, in April, which featured performances from Chris Brown, Ty Dolla $ign and Tink. He recently completed his Love Scars Tour.
