According to an update from the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA) platform, cases of highly pathogenic avian influenza are reported exclusively, but one case was confirmed on the coast of São Paulo. As a result, there are currently 148 cases of the disease in the country, three of which are in living birds and five in marine mammals.

The record was obtained from a Trinta-ráis-de-bando bird on Ilha Comprida off the coast of São Paulo.

There are still 7 suspected cases of infection under investigation in Brazil.

Espírito Santo: 31 (30 wild birds, 01 survival birds)

Rio de Janeiro: 23 (wild birds)

Rio Grande do Sul: 05 (02 for wild birds, 03 for marine animals)

Sao Paulo: 51 (50 for wild birds, 01 for marine mammals)

Bay: 04 (Wild Bird)

Paraná: 13 (wild birds)

Santa Catarina: 20 (18 wild birds, 01 living birds and 01 marine mammals)
