American rock legend Bruce Springsteen announced on Wednesday that he will postpone the remaining dates of his 2023 tour until next year while he recovers from treatment for a peptic ulcer.
A statement said the 74-year-old singer “has been recovering steadily” and will continue to receive treatment based on medical advice for the remainder of the year.
“Thank you to all my friends and fans for your well wishes, encouragement and support. I am recovering and can’t wait to see you all next year,” the musician, nicknamed “The Boss,” said in the newsletter.
Springsteen has been touring with his “E Street Band” since the beginning of the year. But earlier this month, he announced that he would postpone his concert in the United States in September due to illness. He also postponed two shows in August due to an unspecified illness.

“Rescheduled dates for each show in 2023, including those postponed earlier this month, will be announced next week and will all take place at their original venues,” the statement said.
He added that if you are unable to attend on the new date, you may be asked for a refund.
Springsteen, the author of hits such as “Streets of Philadelphia” and “Dancing in the Dark,” has sold more than 150 million records.
