Buena Vida Civic Association Wins Eikon Award

The Buena Vida Civic Association was honored with Eikon for its comprehensive press campaign, networking and relationships with diverse actors, and its use of digital platforms to detect and cure more patients with hepatitis C, a disease that does not cause symptoms. The award carries out testing in 20 provinces and, through football-themed activities within the framework of the World Cup, “reconnects” the health system with confirmed patients who have done nothing to cure themselves.

“Buena Vida” is a non-profit entity whose main goal is to provide information, support and containment by accompanying all patients suffering from liver diseases through a team of hepatologists and mental health professionals, in the hope of detecting and containing liver diseases. According to the World Hepatitis Alliance, viral hepatitis will be eradicated by 2030.
