Double date night is an anthem.
Sisters-in-law Cameron Diaz, 51, and Nicole Richie, 42, supported their husbands Benji Madden and Joel Madden, 44, at the Good Charlotte’s concert in Los Angeles on Tuesday night.
It was a rare public appearance by the Charlie’s Angels actress, who was at the event to also support the Madden twins for their new live concert subscription service Veeps All Access.
Diaz has remained relatively out of the spotlight since she announced her retirement from acting in 2018.
She was set to return alongside her friend Jamie Foxx in Netflix’s Back In Action earlier this year, but the “Blame It” singer was suddenly hospitalized due to an undisclosed medical complication.
Diaz was reportedly “shocked and saddened” by the concerns over Fox’s health.
“They were working together one day and the next day he was gone,” a source told People in June. “She wanted to be supportive and help in any way she could, but his family kept his status a secret.”
Fox has since told fans that he is on the road to recovery, but the future of Back In Action remains unclear.
Madden and Diaz married on January 5, 2015, and have a three-year-old daughter, Raddix.
On August 31, he celebrated her 51st birthday with a rare Instagram post.
“I’m mostly offline these days, just working, painting, running errands and tending to family life, but I’ve enjoyed my little tradition of coming back on special occasions to show my queen some love,” says The Queen’s Lifestyle. Rich & Famous” rocker captioned a photo of a smiling Diaz holding a cat.
“So today Happy Birthday to my beautiful wife, best friend, best partner in everything, ride or die, best mom to our little girl, @Avaline wine boss, family chef, advisor, co-worker and everyone else,” Madden added. “You do it all.”
