Cardi B took to Instagram Live to share her frustrations with owning and managing investment properties. She ended her long rant by declaring that she preferred a nice Birkin to a new property.
After the release of Offset’s new album SWITCH OFFThe famous rap couple has been in the news for several reasons. The “Bodak Yellow” emcee showed off two songs on her husband’s second solo album. She recently responded to accusations that she copied Nicki Minaj’s social media caption.
Responding to the numerous claims, Cardi B said: “I like to attach my name to bullshit, trying to make it a trend,” she wrote in her statement. “When I answer, it’s, ‘I’m the problem.’ I will clear my name every time. Leave me alone if you have a problem with this.”
Responding to these claims, the diamond-certified celebrity singer went live on Instagram to discuss her views on rental properties. During her monologue, she stated, “We have tenants who haven’t even paid their damn rent for nine months!” Cardi exhaled. “Nine months! And sometimes we’re so busy, and our property managers are so busy, that we say, ‘You know what? Don’t even sue them,’ because we’re so damn tired. Like, we don’t even have time for this, because we do so much crap.”
She continued: “People say, ‘Oh, get property, get property, get property.’ Let’s not even talk about the Dominican Republic Airbnb this nigga bought me. Always something! Please! I don’t want real estate as a gift. I love myself, damn it, Birkin.”
The two are known for their elaborate displays of affection for each other online. On Friday (Oct. 13), Offset gifted his FLESH co-star an elaborate floral arrangement that took up the entire entryway of their home for her birthday.
