Cardi B sued for throwing her mic

A concert goer has filed a police report after Cardi B was caught on video at an event in Las Vegas throwing a microphone at a fan who splashed her with drink.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed to Billboard on Monday that the man filed an assault complaint on Sunday. Who claimed to have been “knocked down by an object thrown off the stage”. The police did not call Cardi B by name. But the location of the alleged accident matches the address of the club where the rapper performed.

In a video of Saturday’s crash that went viral on social media over the weekend, Cardi B throws a microphone at an unruly audience member after he spills a drink on her during a performance at Drai’s Beachclub on the Las Vegas Strip.

In a statement Monday, Las Vegas police said no arrests or charges were made. And that “no further details will be provided at this time.” No comments were received from representatives of Cardi B.

Saturday’s performance of Cardi B was the latest in a string of recent incidents in which performers were hit with objects during concerts. Over the past few weeks, Drake has scolded a fan for throwing an e-cigarette onto the stage. Bebe Rexha was injured by a mobile phone thrown in her face. A fan threw his dead mother’s ashes onto the P!nk stage. Someone launched a sex toy at Lil Nas X. And finally, a mysterious object hit Harry Styles near the eye, causing him to flinch in pain.
