KANSAS CITY, MO. — Oh my God, did you hear that Taylor Swift was at the Kansas City Chiefs game on Sunday at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium?
For pop culture lovers, Kansas City is getting better.
Exactly one week from now, the world’s other superstar, megawoman singer, Beyoncé, is set to perform at Arrowhead for the final show of her Renaissance World Tour.

Queen Bey’s show was originally scheduled for September. 18, but it was postponed in July.
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was asked about sharing the stage at Arrowhead Stadium with two of the biggest stars in the world during the week.
“I’ve seen some video of the tour,” Mahomes said. “It looks amazing. The stage is (almost) as big as the field. … It will be great for Kansas City to host such a big event. Oh my god, Arrowhead is going to get this right because it’s going to be an amazing atmosphere.”
Mahomes said he was unaware of the viral “silent challenge” in which crowds on each tour stop competing to better obey their queen, and admitted his wife Brittany was a little upset about the postponement.
The Chiefs will play Sunday night at New York Jets Stadium in a game that will air on KSHB Channel 41.
“Brittany was upset about the date change,” Mahomes said, “because she’s going to come to the game, so she won’t be able to go to the concert.”

As for the saga surrounding Swift and her relationship with friend, teammate and advertising partner Travis Kelce? Mahomes said he needed to meet with her, but didn’t offer anything beyond that.
“I met her; she’s cool, good people,” Mahomes said. “But like Trav said, I’m going to give them privacy and just continue to develop it.”
Swift accepted Kelsey’s invitation to come watch him “rock the stage,” causing a stir as she applauded passionately from the Chiefs’ luxury suite alongside his mom Donna.

Kelsey tried to give Swift a bracelet with his phone number on it when Swift’s “The Eras Tour” made a two-show stop July 7-8 at Arrowhead.
Unsuccessful, Kelce lamented his initial sweet but ultimately unsuccessful attempt to get Swift’s attention on the top-rated weekly podcast he does with his brother, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, “New Heights.”
He addressed the situation in the latest episode of New Heights.
Rumors have begun swirling in recent months that Swift and Kelsey are linked, but this is the first time they have appeared together, leaving Arrowhead after Sunday’s win over Chicago before going out to dinner together.
Fans of Swifties and Kelce seem to be enjoying the budding romance.
