Chrissy Teigen’s daughter Luna is getting crafty!

Teigen and John Legend’s 7-year-old daughter spent Saturday making a homemade “bird feeder,” and her proud mom shared a behind-the-scenes look at the process on her Instagram Story.

In Teigen’s first video, Luna puts the finishing touches on her DIY bird feeder—a contrast consisting of tape, pipe cleaners, aluminum foil and a paper plate—which the 37-year-old cookbook author calls “awesome” and asks the toddler to show it off .

“Wait a second,” Luna says before grabbing the hole punch she told her mom she was looking for.

After the crafty child apparently makes some last-minute changes behind the scenes, she goes outside to hang it on a tree.

Luna chooses a small tree next to the cage containing the family’s bearded dragon, Sebastian.

“Wait, this is perfect” Lip Sync Battle – says the presenter, while her daughter chooses a branch on which to hang her creation.

Teigen asks Luna if she should put the feeder higher up so the birds can see it better. She shrugs in response, telling her mom, “They always come here.”

In the latest video in the bird feeder saga, a seven-year-old girl puts the finishing touches on her creation by filling a foil bowl with water from a cup.

“Do you think they care whether it’s filtered or not?” she asks her mom, who laughs and says, “I don’t think so.”

Along with Luna, Teigen and Legend, 44, have children Miles, 5, Esty, 9 months, and Wren, 3 months, who frequently appear on the couple’s social media accounts.

Teigen said her eldest child, whom she allows to get a butterfly tattoo, can be a bit of a “perfectionist.”

In her 2021 cover story for PEOPLE’s Beautiful Issue, Teigen explained that she’s trying to teach Luna the “beauty” of imperfection.

“She’s a bit of a perfectionist, which I didn’t know about until the last few years,” Teigen said. “I try to tell her that not everything is funny, because when I talk to her, I’m actually talking to myself – not everything has to be perfect, and there is joy and beauty in imperfections, and don’t be like that. be hard on yourself. And that’s what I’m talking to myself when I tell her these things.”

According to the child’s crafty father, she is also a music lover, but Legend is not her favorite artist.

“I’m probably second or third for Luna,” the 2022 EGOT winner told PEOPLE. However, she will sing along to his hits in the car, Legend says.

“Luna loves girly pop and R&B. She likes Rihanna, Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez and people like that,” he explained, adding, “Chrissy and Luna have similar tastes.”
