The Russo brothers aren’t used to going unnoticed: the two directors of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame therefore seem willing to make a lot of noise even with this Citadelthe Amazon series with Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra that we can finally take a look at with this first trailer.
Anticipated by the Citadel teaser released a few days ago, the trailer for the Amazon series in fact, it promises us a more than moderate dose of action, as befits a series that is inspired quite clearly by successful franchises such as Jason Bourne and films such as Mr. & Mrs. Smith.
Just like in the film with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, the understanding between the two protagonists will presumably make the difference: Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra here are two secret agents of an agency, the Citadel of the title, which was shattered following an attack organized by the Manticore.
The trailer shows us how the two protagonists survived the aforementioned attack, only to end up being re-recruited by Bernard Orlick (Stanley Tucci), a former Citadel agent intent on investigating the Manticore. Small detail: during the attack, Mason Kane and Nadia Sinh (Madden and Chopra) have lost all memory of their previous work, save for a few small details. What do you think?
