Multiple lawsuits have been filed after Iranian media reported that the “Nasr” star hugged and kissed artist Fatima Hamimi on the cheek to thank her for gifting her two paintings.
Cristiano Ronaldo could be whipped 99 times as punishment for the adulterous act of touching a woman in a relationship.
Hamimi, who is reportedly 85 percent paralyzed and can only draw with his feet, was one of many fans to send gifts to Ronaldo.
Ronaldo signed a 2.5-year contract with the Saudi Arabian club, reportedly worth $75 million per year, which a judge may forgive if “these actions go unpunished or Ronaldo shows remorse,” Marca reported he.
Cristiano continues to lose money. How sad it is for the former king of the world to fall out of favor. Apparently, Ronaldo’s Saudi club team flew to Tehran to play in the Asian Champions League when a paralyzed artist named Fatima Al Hamimi gave him several paintings that she had drawn with her feet. Cristiano thanked her with a hug and a kiss on the cheek, now staring at 99 eyelashes unless:
1) The behavior is not punishable
or
2) Ronaldo shows remorse
Wow. So much for justice. There’s a lot of leeway here, a lot of constraints. Can Ronaldo just say sorry and get out of this mess? Here I am, thinking that Iran has a pretty harsh and punitive legal system.
Obviously, #1 seems rather vague. What does no punishment mean? Either it’s adultery or it’s not. I’m not an Iranian legal scholar, but my math says: Ronaldo is in love + he touched another woman = adultery. Tell me where I went wrong? Once we start changing the rules because people score a lot of goals, we corrode the fabric of society. No one is above the law.
Jokes aside, 99 lashes is a lot. Got to 10, and then 89 more. I’ve never been whipped but I think I could handle 3-5 before I tell them to kill me. I wonder why they chose 99 instead of around 100. Is this like a store pricing an item at $4.99 because it looks more affordable than $5 to us idiot buyers? Just like don’t worry about Cristiano, you can get through it, not even 100 lashes of the whip.
For Ronaldo’s sake, I hope the judge says these actions will go unpunished. You may want to give him a fruit basket to put him in a good mood on Judgment Day.
