I was founded in Toronto in 1996. DANKO JONES they’ve seen and done just about everything in the last quarter century. Inspired by the punk rock spirit of DYI and inspired by the good, the great and the grotesque, electrifying rock ‘n’ roll, they gradually built a colossal international fan base and became one of the most famous live bands, beloved by everyone from rock fans to mainstream radio to hardcore metalheads. . Over the years they have released ten acclaimed studio albums, creating an unrivaled repertoire. From the edgy blues of 2002’s Born A Lion and the frantic power pop of its follow-up We Sweat Blood (2003) to the perfection of 2010’s Below The Belt, the band’s ability to hit rock music’s mark is spot on. the weakling never hesitated. In the last decade I DANKO JONES they noticeably changed direction. Because the frontman Danko and bassist J.C. they joined the drummer Rich Knox, the band’s creative fire burned brighter than ever. A succession of killer, low-key albums—Fire Music, Wild Cat, A Rock Supreme, Power Trio—led to even more aggressive touring and simple service to the cause of rock. Armed with yet another impressive classic, I DANKO JONES they have a new mission – to attract to their side anyone who wants to join the party.
From the audacity of the initial “Guess Who’s Back” and the muscular gait of the new wave “Good Time”to the promise of the title track “smash a thousand guitars tonight!“ or to the new stoner anthem “Penance?”, Electrical sounds it’s definitely a varied job. “Electric Sounds” was produced Eric Ratz and sees participation Tyler Stewart (Nude ladies) on “She’s my baby”, Damian Abraham (Fucked up) on “Penance?” and guitarist Daniel Decay (Canadian thrash legends Exciter) on the title track.
Electrical sounds This already sounds like a classic. When the wheel spins freely and propels you forward, there’s no need to reinvent it: instead, this band simply hones and perfects their craft, always at full volume.
