Rebekah Loos, who was once the football star’s personal assistant, took to her Instagram page to talk about the sudden flurry of headlines.

Loos, who is now a yoga and meditation teacher, appears to be keeping her cool about the criticism she receives on her social media page. A supporter jumped in to support her after all the negativity. “Stay strong,” they wrote. “You have a wonderful life with your amazing family who, unlike others, don’t have to fill in the blanks with Netflix!!!” The fitness instructor responded with gratitude: “Thank you 🙏🏼(I) take the nasty comments with as much humor as I can.”
What makes this turn of events so intriguing is that 19 years later, it is still a “he said, she said” situation. Loos admitted to what happened, although the former athlete still denies it happened nearly two decades later. “Over the past few months, I’ve gotten used to reading more and more ridiculous stories about my personal life,” he said in 2004. “What came out this morning is just another example. The simple truth is that I am very happily married with a wonderful wife and two special children. There’s nothing a third party can do to change that.”

The infidelity allegedly occurred while David was playing for Real Madrid in Spain and Victoria returned to the UK with her two sons, Brooklyn and Romeo. Distance and rumors didn’t help their marriage, which the former Spice Girl described as the “most miserable” time of her life. Loos was not the only woman whose name was linked to David: there were several others, including singer Katherine Jenkins, model Sarah Marbeck, hair salon owner Danielle Heath and sex worker Irma Nicky. Fans may never know the truth if these romances ever happened, but Victoria firmly remembers this time. She concluded: “Here’s the thing – we were against each other, to be completely honest.”
