Death of a girl in Westminster: they expect a statement and a report, which will be key

A statement and report are expected to be key as progress continues to be made in the case of nine-year-old Abigail, who died from bilateral pneumonia in Cimyn almost four months after the death.

The girl died last Tuesday (July 11). The Ministry of Justice was convinced he was dead on arrival at the hospital and has since launched an investigation to determine the cause of his death. An autopsy later revealed that he died of multiple organ failure due to a respiratory infection. However, Abigail’s mother always assured that she had taken her daughter to Siming three times and that she always arrived at the facility alive.

The case went to court following statements from his parents, medical staff, as well as the seizure of documents and a search of security cameras at the location. Now they are awaiting testimony from medical professionals involved in the case and the results of a crucial study.

Precisely, once the above results are known, the Ministry of Justice will decide the next steps. The fact is that with this data, the prosecutor’s experts will be able to decide how to proceed.

One of the measures taken was a raid on 18 August at the Parque Universitario clinic, where the girl had been treated a few days before her parents took her to Cimyn. There, they managed to seize documents that were also included in the case.

After Abigail was treated there, her parents took her to Ximing Detention Center at least three times, where she died of bilateral pneumonia. However, the family is convinced the girl suffered neglect and abandonment, which is why justice intervened.
