The new single from the rammy-nominated superstar is finally here Demi Lovato, Still Aliveavailable digitally, in radio rotation, as well as the original song for the horror film Scream VIto be released in Italian cinemas on Thursday 9 March and distributed by Eagle Pictures. Still Alivewritten by Demi Lovato with Shinoda And Laura Veltz, it’s a very powerful track, with an electricity that is also confirmed in the official video clip, already available on VEVO/YouTube. In the video the world of Scream invades the reality of Demi Lovato, when with her friends she participates in a private screening of the new chapter of the saga, ending up being hunted down by Ghostface himself. Demi takes on the iconic role of Final Girls as she faces her attacker in the final frames of the video, directed by Jensen Noen, with cameos from Mike Shinoda and Spencer Charnas (Ice Nine Kills): “I couldn’t think of a more perfect home for Still Alive than inside the universe of Scream. I’m a huge fan of the movies, so it’s an honor to contribute to such an iconic horror film,” he commented.
Still Alive is part of the film’s soundtrack and marks the first taste of Demi Lovato’s new music since the last release of Holy Fvck last year. The critically and commercially acclaimed album contains the singles 29, Substance and Skin of my Teeth, and represents the return of Demi Lovato to his rock and pop-punk roots, also thanks to collaborations with Yungblud, Royal & The Serpent and Dead Sara. Scream VI follows the survivors of the latest murders of Ghostface, the sisters Samantha and Tara Carpenter (Melissa Barrera of Dream in New York – In the Heights and Jenna Ortega of the TV series “Wednesday”) and the twins Chad and Mindy Meeks, who break up Woodsboro behind them and they begin a new chapter of their lives in New York, only to find themselves once again plagued by a series of murders perpetrated by a new killer wearing the mask of Ghostface.
