The streaming platform already boasts other rainbow franchises and stories, including Queen of the Universe 2the drag singing competition coming June 3rd. The program boasts for the first time an Italian competitor, Aura Eternal, already a finalist in the second season of Drag Race Italy and member of the first Italian drag band, the 4Tune, with the winner La Diamond, Nehellenia (Miss Simpatia) and the Petite Noire. And the news has just begun because Paramount+ will also host the upcoming season of All Stars (where the strongest queens of the original US version compete) and the first editions hosted in Brazil, Germany and Mexico.

Returning, however, to Drag Race Italy 3fans of the show are already wondering if the three judges Priscilla, Chiara Francini and Tommaso Zorzi, who christened the first two chapters of the franchise in the tricolor version, will be reconfirmed.

One thing is certain: the show really brings good luck. And not just because the winners can create one limited collection of make-up for MAC Cosmetics. Elecktra Bionic, which triumphed in the first edition, is among the judges of I’m not a lady, the drag variety show hosted by Alba Parietti which should start in May on Rai Due. Drag Race Italy also launched the singing career of Luquisha Lubamba, elected Miss Simpatia of the first season, who recently participated in the selections to represent San Marino at theEurovision Song Contest.

Overseas, the likes of Lady Gaga, Ricky Martin and Ariana Grande participated as guest judges on the programme. In the Canada vs the world edition, the leader of a nation was present for the first time: Justin Trudeau, Canadian prime minister, spoke about inclusiveness, hospitality and equal rights in the werk room, the headquarters of the queens during the competition.

Tiziano Ferro, on the other hand, is the number one Italian fan of the programme who, in a video message, repeated RuPaul’s iconic good luck, «Don’t f**k it up», which Priscilla Neapolitanized with her «Nun facit strunzat». And who knows if in Drag Race Italia 3 she will not appear as a guest judge to judge the catwalk and the lipsync.
