The Physical chart-topping singer looked upbeat as she strolled around the French capital, with the autumn sun reflecting the vibrancy of her newly dyed hair.
Dua Lipa’s fans were given a better look at her vibrant new look after she was spotted showing off her dramatic new hair color.
The 28-year-old chart star is well known for her dark locks, but she has undergone a style transformation and also hints that she could soon release her third album. Ahead of the release of her hotly anticipated third album, Dua walked the streets of Paris and was snapped by photographers near the Gare du Nord train station in the French capital.
While Dua was bundled up in a long cream-colored coat, her new cherry red hair was on full display. Hidden behind a pair of chic glasses and flashing a bright smile, the levitating singer looked in high spirits as she made her way through the French streets.
Her outing in the European fashion capital comes after she had already teased her new hair color on social media. Dua delighted fans when she took to Instagram last week to pose for an eye-catching photo. She posed with her arms wrapped around herself in an aqua top with red, white and blue stripes.
She dyed her hair its current deep cherry shade and looked straight into the camera. She shared the photo online along with a simple message: “Miss me?”
The simple and to-the-point message created a frenzy of excitement and anticipation among fans, who speculated that she was announcing her musical comeback. One excited fan wrote in response to her Instagram post: “The loud era is coming.” While another exclaimed: “DL3 WILL BE INSAAAAAN.”
Back in August, a New York Times magazine profile of her said that the singer’s next album would be released next year. The news magazine wrote: “Let’s get out of the way: Dua Lipa is finishing her third album. It’s set to be released in 2024, and despite the tendency of musicians to announce and delay record releases for years, Lipa is almost certain to meet the deadline.”
The profile continued: “The next record will still be pop,” she says, so her “fans don’t have a meltdown”… She doesn’t want to “alienate” them, although she is developing a new sound that may be less informed by house music. group. and disco beats to songs like “Physical” and “Hallucinate” than 1970s-era psychedelia.”
Dua herself previously told the Wall Street Journal that she named her album, teasing: “It has a vision. It has a name—for now.” And she also told Variety that the next album will be “something completely different and big.”
The singer released her self-titled debut album back in June 2017, and it included the chart-topping single “New Rules.” Her second album, Future Nostalgia, featuring the singles Physical and Levitating, was released in March 2020.
