Dua Lipa’s analysts were stunned after a clip of her appearing on an Australian reality show before returning to worldwide fame.
The British-Albanian singer was an up-and-coming pop star when she appeared on the second series of The Bachelorette Australia in 2016.
At the time, the 22-year-old star was opening for Australian singer Troye Sivan on his tour.
The unearthed clip shows the Grammy winner performing her tracks Be The One and Hotter Than Hell for Bachelorette Georgia Love and her would-be suitor Clancy Ryan.
Little did the couple know that the 28-year-old would hit the big time the following year after releasing her debut single New Rules.
The clip, which was shared on TikTok by The Shameless Podcast, stunned many fans as they commented in droves on it.

One wrote: “This is definitely for the archives.”
“I think about this every time I see a video of Dua Lipa singing and how far she has come,” said another.
A third added: “Thanks for posting, I completely forgot about this.”
This isn’t the first time the Grammy winner has appeared on a reality show before becoming a star.
Most notably, Lizzo performed for the cast of Made in Chelsea in 2014, and Lady Gaga appeared on MTV’s The Hills in 2008.
Later this year, Lipa will star opposite Henry Cavill in Matthew Vaughn’s upcoming spy thriller Argyle, coming to Apple TV+.
Based on the debut novel by author Ellie Conway, the film tells the story of a spy who, after a bout of memory loss, is tricked into believing he is actually a spy writer. The star-studded cast also includes Sam Rockwell, John Cena and Samuel L. Jackson.
The music star recently made a cameo appearance in the film Barbie alongside Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling.
She also contributed to the film’s soundtrack with her song Dance The Night, which reached number four in the UK charts.
