Game Description
Frank Herbert’s science fiction novel of the same name served as the inspiration for the video game Dune, which was released in 1992 and is a strategy-adventure game. Dune is a video game that blends elements of adventure, economic strategy, and military strategy. It was developed by Cryo and distributed by Virgin Games. The player assumes the role of Paul Atreides in the video game, which is based on the plot of the novel. The player’s ultimate objective is to expel the Harkonnen from the Planet Dune, while simultaneously controlling the extraction of spices, the military, and, later on, the ecology through the native Fremen tribes.

- Download DOSBox and place a shortcut for DOSBox on your desktop.
- Open the “Dune_DOS” folder and then open the “Game Files” folder.
- Drag the file named “DUNEPRG” on top of the DOSBox icon and the game should now launch in DOSBox.
