Ed Sheeran and Shawn Mendes contributed to Jungkook’s debut solo album.
The BTS star has revealed the track listing for “Golden,” while the “Bad Habits” hitmaker is credited as a songwriter for “Yes or No,” while Canadian heartthrob Sean worked on “Hate You.”
In terms of features, DJ Snake features on “Please Don’t Change” and Major Lazer appears on “Closer to You.”
Fans have already heard the debut single “Seven” featuring Latto (a clean and honest version) and “3D” featuring Jack Harlow.
Other tracks include “Somebody”, “Shot Glass of Tears” and “Too Sad to Dance”.
The 26-year-old star had a huge hand in producing the record.
Big Hit Music stated, “Because the new album ‘Golden’ is based on Jungkook’s ‘golden moment’, Jungkook put his heart and soul into the production, including personally selecting all the songs that will be included on the new album.”
Meanwhile, Jungkook announced a ‘Golden Live On Stage’ event to be held on November 20 at Jangchung Arena in Seoul to promote the album, and fans will be able to follow him around the world through a live broadcast.
Although Jungkook has performed solo before, such as at the Global Citizen Festival in New York, “Golden Live On Stage” will be his first full solo performance.
The South Korean star recently spoke about being as grateful to his haters as he is to his fans, claiming that the time and energy they put into trolling him means they’re paying attention to his art.
While recently attending a “3D” audition party, he said, “There are a lot of people who don’t like me.
“This means they are wasting their time on me. I would consider this a kind of interest. Right? These are different fans.
“If they had absolutely no interest in me, they wouldn’t. So, I thank them for their time.
– Although I don’t like them. I don’t have to like them, do I? Of course I love those who love me. I wouldn’t like people who talk bad about me. I work for those who support me.”
