Elevation Worship wins Dove Award for Worship Album of the Year

GRAMMY® Award-winning band Elevation Worship was named Worship Album of the Year for their project. LION: Live from the loft, at this year’s 54th Annual GMA Dove Awards. This is the group’s seventh Dove Award win. They were also nominated for Song of the Year (“Same God”). The GMA Dove Awards took place last week in Nashville and aired exclusively on TBN and the TBN app on Friday, October 20th.

“What an honor that the album has received such recognition,” shares Chris Brown. “We are grateful that the songs on it have served so many.”

Elevation Worship also opened the awards with a special performance of “Praise” from their latest release. CAN YOU IMAGINE?. In addition to the group’s win, Elevation Worship’s Chris Brown and Steven Furtick were awarded Graves (rap/hip-hop song of the year) as songwriters, and also received a producer recognition for Worship Album of the Year.

Elevation Worship recently completed the fall leg of their Elevation Nights Tour 2023, which was the largest Christian music tour since the Casting Crowns, Hillsong Worship and Elevation Worship 2019 tour. Elevation Worship will release their first full-length Christmas album this Friday. Echo of Angels. The project will include original songs, some reimagined classics such as “Hark The Herald Angels Sing”, “O Little Town Of Bethlehem”, “Welcome To Our World” and “Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee”, as well as remixes of the track with ELEVATION RHYTHM.
