Escape Music announce the project Renaissance Rock Orchestrawhose exit Ice Age Comet is scheduled to market for the next May 26th.

The ambitious musical ensemble is led by the keyboard player Gregg Foxan artist who has a very talented background, having started playing the piano at the age of 5 and having discovered Rock in his adolescence. Gregg he has always loved classical music and the symphonic sound of orchestras, even playing the violin during his high school years.

The influence of Deep Purple, ELP, Jethro Tull And Yes he drove Fox on his journey into the world of music, and these bands – together with Led Zeppelin – have become his inspiration. Gregg was originally in a Seattle-based prog group – called icarus, with whom he recorded music in the vein of Kansas, Styx And Yes – where he met the guitarist Howard Leese (Heart), with whom he worked for some time.

After taking a break from the music business at the beginning of the new millennium, he resumed in 2007 writing the songs that would form the basis of his Renaissance Rock Orchestraand – after playing with great rock musicians like Carmine Appice, Paul Shortino, Chris Slade And Doug Aldrich – was inspired to form just the RRO and to write two discs with Mikey Boneswho unfortunately later passed away.

Ice Age Comet it is the last signed recording RRO and offers great orchestral and symphonic music that mixes with Classic Rock, for a work that will certainly please fans of the Trans Siberian Orchestra.
